Get ready for the event of the season!

Bring your whole family for our Grand Re-Opening and the first annual Kettle Fest!

Check out the line up below for the details of our three day Re-Opening and the first annual Kettle Fest! A portion of all proceeds will benefit the Oakland Volunteer Fire Department.

Want to make sure you don't miss ANYTHING? Bring a tent and camp out with us! We'll have a designated spot for free camping beginning Friday night and going through the weekend.

Friday, 9/17

We'll start ramping up for Saturday on Friday night! We're kicking things off in preparation for the "Run for the Medal at the Kettle" 5K trail run and our "Kick it at the Kettle" kickball tournament. We'll have packet pickup for the 5k from 4pm-10pm, with pasta and drink specials running all evening. Our Kickstart will officially begin at 8pm with live music!

Saturday 9/18

Saturday we're starting early for a day full of activities for the whole family!

  • 7-10: It's time to fuel up for the race! We'll start with a pancake breakfast that's open to everyone, not just our racers! It takes energy to cheer runners on from a lawn chair, so we've got pancakes for everyone! Late packet pickup and race registration is also available during this time.
  • 10:30: Runners to your mark! The Run for the Medal at the Kettle 5k is starting! Snacks will be provided at the end of the race and all runners will receive a free beverage of choice.
  • 11:30-12:30: Running is not just for the adults! We'll be running Tea Kettle races in the meantime so the kids can join the fun.
  • 1:00: All can run, but few can win! We'll begin our awards for the ones who weren't bogged down by too many pancakes! There will also be raffles throughout the day, including 50/50 drawings.
  • 2:00: Head over to our kickball field for the "Kick it at the Kettle" kickball tournament! There will be plenty of opportunities for prizes and swag!
  • 4:00: No event is complete without some live music. We have a great array of bands lined up, with After Shock as our headliner!

Throughout the day there will be other fun and games for kids and adults alike! We'll have a bouncy house, cornhole, gunny sack races, and a ton of food and drink options!

Sunday 9/19

Sunday mornings are for Bloody Marys and Mimosas! We'll have a Bloody Mary bar and food specials as well as Mimosa specials. Our race participants can enjoy a drink on the house, and there will be a pastry and fruit bar available as well. It'll be a great way to end a weekend of food and fun!
